Turkish Test score is not taken into account in placement.
Turkish Proficiency levels;
- C1 and C2 Levels: Turkish level is sufficient. The student is enrolled in the program for which the right of enrolment is granted.
- B1 and B2 Levels: Turkish level is not sufficient, but it can be improved. Provided that the student takes a Turkish course, he/she can enroll in the program for which he/she has the right to enroll. The student must document that he/she has improved his/her Turkish level to C1-C2 level by the beginning of the third academic year at the latest. At the end of this period, those whose Turkish is still at B1 - B2 level cannot continue education and training until they improve their language level to C1- C2.
A1 and A2 Levels: Turkish level is insufficient. The student should take a Turkish course. Those who are in this situation should document that they have improved their Turkish level to C1-C2 level by the beginning of the third academic year at the latest. Article a is applied for those who improve their Turkish proficiency level to C1-C2 level; and article b is applied for those who improve their Turkish proficiency level to B1-B2 level.

CONTENT OF TURKISH PROFICIENCY EXAM
Turkish Proficiency Exam will be held at Ardahan University by
TÖMER (Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center) between
07/08/2023 - 15/09/2023 in Ardahan.
The Turkish Proficiency Exam will be held in three stages as Reading - Comprehension, Writing and Speaking, and the duration of the exam will be 1.5 hours.

In accordance with the decision of Turkish Language Research and Application Center of Ardahan University Board of Directors dated 07.08.2023 and numbered 2023/4, the course fee for the Turkish language teaching course consisting of A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 courses to be given to foreign students who will register for the 2023-2024 Academic Year will be 13.500 TL. The course fee will be charged in two equal instalments (6750 x 2).
